php Link Directory or phpLD for short, is a very popular directory script and is the script that we use ourselves for Directory Share.
Due to it's huge popularity there are a number of phpLD modules, more commonly referred to in the short hand phpLD mods.
Directory Share is one such developer of these mods which can be downloaded free of charge and used on your own web directory.
php Link Directory can be downloaded from the phpLD web site. They offer both free and paid versions of the php Link Directory script, with the free version being several revisions behind the paid.
phpLD mods are usually developed for the latest versions of phpLD, however many of them are also compatible with previous versions. If you are unsure, you should ask the developer.
Directory Share clearly state which versions of phpLD our mods have been developed and tested on, the majority of them are backward compatible. Our advice is to test the specific module you are interested in and if it doesn't work, please contact us via the forum links at the top of the page.
